岗位职责：
1. Ensure the laboratory has the necessary equipment, personnel, analytical techniques and capabilities, either internally or externally to support the QA business needs, working closely with the QA manager.
2. Take responsibility for the current and future planning needs of the department, including developing new procedures for non-standard or specialist projects, conducting unusual or complex analysis when required, reviewing results accuracy, monitoring lab performance, preparing reports and ensuring all equipment is maintained and calibrated as needed.
3. They have overall management responsibility for the laboratory setting and managing employee performance and training needs, identifying needs and organising capability and capacity to meet the need. This includes internal development and external resource identification and qualification as needed to optimise available resource to meet the QA needs.

5. Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing and maintain effective working relationships.
6. Ensure work duties are clearly communicated in an organised and efficient manner, the work area is safe and clean and operating practices are safe. Keep up to date with Health and Safety regulations, ensure all staff in the department are kept informed and oversee compliance by team members. Ensure all chemicals and equipment are stored and used in line with regulations.
7. Proficiency in the use of office application software, maths and IT skills.
8. Train and assist laboratory personnel, including demonstrating equipment and experiments as required.
9. Oversee the work of the laboratory technicians.
